A report from November 22, 2019 was just released by the Pennsylvania State Police.
The report states that Trooper Trent Viccari was traveling west on Route 85 in the vicinity of Rayburn Manor Apartments (Rayburn Township) at about 10:30 AM when he observed a white 2009 Mitsubishi Galant traveling east with its right headlight not functioning.
Viccari initiated a traffic stop as the vehicle pulled into a driveway.
“As I approached the vehicle, I detected an odor of marijuana,” Viccari wrote in his report. He stated that the 22-year-old unidentified male driver admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that morning.
The vehicle was searched and a small amount of marijuana was found. The operator was placed under arrest for DUI and taken for a legal blood draw. Charges are pending lab results.
