Two New Bethlehem individuals escaped serious injury during a Tuesday late afternoon crash on Routes 28/66 in Boggs Township.
Pennsylvania State Police Investigator Tyco Bock stated the crash occurred approximately 897 feet east of SR 1035. A 2007 Acura RSX driven by Collin Polka, 27, was traveling south. He attempted to swerve to the right and stop abruptly. His vehicle hit the embankment and overturned, partially blocking the southbound lane.
He and his passenger, Kayla Steele, 34, were not injured in the December 17th crash.
Bock stated in his report that Polka could be cited for driving his vehicle at an unsafe speed.
