The Board of School Directors of the Karns City Area School District are accepting applications to fill the unexpired term of School Director Mr. Bryan Fleeger for a term until December 2021.
Based upon the Public School Code, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be a Citizen of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania having good moral character;
• Eighteen (18) years of age or upward;
• Resident of the District for at least one year prior to the date of appointment.
Any interested person should submit a letter of interest indicating his/her desire to serve on the Board of School Directors and a ressume of experience to Mrs. Deana Turner, Board Secretary, Karns City Area School District, 1446 Kittanning Pike, Karns City, PA 16041. Deadline for receipt of applications is 3:00PM on December 13.
The District will then hold a Special Board Meeting on Monday, December 16 at 6PM in the Administration Office at the Karns City Area Junior-Senior High School to appoint the new Board Member.
