Student Initiates Bomb Threat at West Hills

An eleven-year-old student is being blamed for a bomb threat Wednesday at West Hills Intermediate School.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Investigating Officer Darren Rice, police were notified of the bomb threat at approximately 9:30 AM on October 24, 2019.

State troopers conducted an investigation that lead to the source of the threat. State Police concluded that there was no credible threat to students and staff of West Hills Intermediate School.

The school is located in East Franklin Township. It is part of a complex that includes West Hills Primary School as well as the district offices for the Armstrong School District.
