Local Man Dies From 4-Wheeler Injuries

Pennsylvania State Police Nolan Cavanaugh has reported that a NuMine man has died following an ATV accident on September 13, 2019.

William R. Hulsey, 46, was driving a 2001 Polaris Trail Blazer 250cc four-wheeler on White Oak Road near the intersection with Summer Road in Cowanshannock Township at 11:30 PM. His speed was estimated at 45 mph. He attempted to negotiate a right curve when he lost control. He was thrown from the vehicle as it overturned multiple times.

Hulsey sustained serious injuries and was flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. On October 3, 2019 at 6:30 AM, he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation was conducted by Cavanaugh, Corporal Armagost, and Troopers Fetterman, Schultz, and Viccari.
