Local fire departments, police, and an ambulance were dispatched to a dumpster fire in a parking lot adjacent to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Thick smoke filled the area. A 9-1-1 dispatcher reported that the caller said it was endangering the adjacent building. Investigators said that possibly someone threw a lit cigarette that ignited the building material rubbish in the dumpster.
