The Community Foundation’s Annual Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 1 st, 2019.
Executive Director Jodi Beers said they will be awarding a number of grants to nonprofits again this year.
“An independent committee will review and evaluate all applications and make final decisions on grant awards,” Beers said in a news release. “All nonprofits that are selected will be notified before the dinner and one person from each organization will be invited to attend as our guest to accept the award. The amounts will be kept a secret until the evening of the dinner! Additional guests may purchase a ticket to attend. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!”
The Foundation will choose children that attend the dinner to select one of our grant awardees. It’s a great opportunity to get them involved and to teach them about philanthropy. The children will present the grant award for the Children’s category.
The required grant application is due no later than July 16th, 2019.
