The flag was raised for this weekend by Ret. Marine Sgt. Donald McCoy Jr. at the Oz Complex (former Kittanning Sr. High School). “We wanted the flag to fly again. You can see it as you are coming down Orr Avenue. We wanted everyone to see it,” said owner Tammy Nulph.
Director Sara McCoy, 38, announced Emerald City Gymnastics will move this week to the new Oz Complex. She said the business has 600 members and look forward to the additional space.
The pair purchased the high school property last fall from the Armstrong School District. They are leasing space within the facility as well as the Fine Arts Center auditorium.
