After two days of searching, Kenneth Himes, 70, has remained missing.
Officials have decided to suspend the search for 70-year-old Ken Himes for today, due to weather.
Himes was reported missing from his brother’s home on the Cadogan-Slate Lick Road in South Buffalo Township, where he spent a Christmas visit on Wednesday morning, December 26. State Police said he had medical problems and was showing signs of dementia.
Search dogs led searchers to a pond on the farm approximately a mile away from the house. It is being drained with pumps today as part of the search.
Approximately 250 neighbors, friends, and rescue volunteers joined the search yesterday.
