Harvest Church Provides Thanksgiving Meal Fare

Harvest Community Church planned its Community Thanksgiving Dinners event for several months.
However, the free dinners took on additional significance with thousands of people unable to cook at home due to losing power for extended periods of time over the weekend.
According to Pastor “Big Fred” Neal, the church served 540 people at its Natrona Heights Walmart location and 210 guests at the Parker Community Center location.
“We were blessed that the timing of our dinner coincided with the community having a greater need for the service,” reflected Pastor Neal.
Some also took advantage of the church’s warming station over the weekend.
Food left over was donated to local women’s and vet shelters, and other assistance organizations.
Harvest Community Church is a church that seeks to glorify God by growing the health and size of His church everywhere. It is a church with multiple locations: Freeport, Indiana, Kittanning, and Petroleum Valley. Its website is www.harvestpa.org.
