Chris Hannigan holds his 11-month-old daughter Fallyn, and is joined by his five-year-old daughter, Rylee, to participate in yesterday’s “Trunk or Treat”.
The second annual “Trunk or Treat” was held by Seneca Lodge 805 in Rayburn Township on Sunday evening.
Eric Ryan, Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge, helped to coordinate the event.
“We partner with the community, the fire departments, the local EMS, and hand out candy for the kids,” Ryan explained.
The event was free and drew a good crowd considering a steady rain that was part of Sunday’s weather.
“We’ve had a good turnout. (Within the first hour), we have had over 100 kids, so we are happy with it.”
Ryan said the Lodge plans on continuing the event next year.
