An update has been published by PennDOT District 10 regarding routes that were closed in Armstrong County due to flooding.
Route 1035 – a lane restriction is in place in Boggs Township between Dill Road and Elkin Road due to a slide.
Route 1032 is closed between Route 1031 ad Ridge Road in Boggs Township.
Route 85 is open between Wagner Road and Dave White Road in Rayburn Township.
Route 3007, Glade Run Road, is open from Route 128 in Cadogan Township and Pony Farm Road in North Buffalo Township.
Route 4035, Craigsville Road, is open in West Franklin Township between Airport Road and Old Butler Road.
Route 3013, Mushroom Farm Road, is open between Route 422 and Fenelton Road in West Franklin Township.
Route 56 is open between Gobblers Run Road in South Bend Township and Shady Plain Road in Kiskiminetas Township.
In Butler County, Route 268 has re-opened between Route 68 in Fairview Township, Butler County and Route 38 in Emlenton Borough, in Venango County.
In Indiana County, Route 422 is now open between Route 210 in Plumcreek Township (Armstrong County) and Anthony Run Road in Armstrong Township (Indiana County).
PennDOT cautions motorists to never drive through flooded roadways, as it takes just two feet of fast-moving water to float a car. Anyone who drives around barriers intended to close a road can face increased penalties if emergency responders are called to rescue motorists who disregard traffic control signs.
