A traffic stop for traffic violations was initiated by State Police at the 300-block of North Grant Avenue in Kittanning.
An unidentified 28-year-old Leechburg driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle based on the indicators he displayed. He refused to cooperate with State Police and field sobriety tests were refused. He was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. A legal breath sample was obtained.
Charges will be filed accordingly.
