A mid-day crash on August 14 resulted in minor injury to a Kittanning woman.
Summer Bowser, 29, was traveling north on Claypoole Road near Lyn Haven Lane heading towards Worthington Borough. As her 2013 Dodge Dart negotiated a left turn and started down the straight way, her vehicle left the roadway on the east side of the road and struck a mailbox. Once the car hit the mailbox, it continued in the grass on the east side of the road leaving marks. It finally came to rest on the north bound shoulder of the road.
State Police Trooper Jordan Smith stated in his report that any injury was minor.
State Police were assisted at the scene by Bowser’s Towing.
