John Hadden, Jr.
MANOR - A Ford City man was placed in the Armstrong County Jail following a robbery attempt at the Sheetz convenience store along Route 66. 20-year-old John Matthew Hadden, Jr. allegedly punched an unidentified 38-year-old male in the facial area several times while in the Sheetz parking lot. Hadden caused serious bodily injury to the victim’s teeth, lips, and facial area. Hadden took the victim’s wallet that contained approximately $16 and left the scene on foot. He was later found at his residence and was arrested. Hadden is being accused of Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Simple Assault, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment, and Underage Drinking. District Magisterial Judge Gary DeComo set Hadden’s bail at $50,000. This incident happened shortly before 6AM on May 28, 2017.
