If you’re hoping to spend some time in an amusement park this summer, Pennsylvania is a good place to be. The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Ride and Measurement Standards oversees more than 9,000 amusement rides and attractions - more than any other state or foreign country. With the summer season underway, state officials are encouraging Pennsylvanians to take the proper precautions before jumping on a roller coaster or heading down a water slide. When at a park or fair, you should check the ride has a Pennsylvania registration, and always follow ride instructions and boarding restrictions before hopping on.
