West Shamokin Lady Wolves Set to Play Charleroi in Round 1 of State Playoffs

The West Shamokin Lady Wolves won their conference and district, now they will try and carry that success forwards in round 1 of the PIAA playoffs. The Lady Wolves are set to play Charleroi at Armstrong High School at 4:00 PM.

The West Shamokin Lady Wolves have been shattering school records all season, and now in their first state playoff game the Lady Wolves will look to continue their success.

The Lady Wolves are coming off of a huge win against Tyrone in the PIAA District 6 3A Championship- West Shamokin routed the Golden Eagles 58-42.

On the other side of the coin, the Lady Wolves opponent in round 1 of states will be the Charleroi Cougars. The Cougars are looking to rebound off a 65-35 blowout against Neshannock - the Cougars last played on February 25.

West Shamokin comes into this game with a school record 24-2 record, while the Cougars enter the game 18-5.
