The regular season has ended and earlier this week the Armstrong River Hawks boys varsity basketball team along with the West Shamokin boys and girls varsity basketball teams learned who they would play in the playoffs.

The West Shamokin Wolves girls varsity basketball team finished the regular season with a school record 19-2 record. After posting the new school record for wins, the Wolves then won the Heritage Conference North Division and the Heritage Conference Championship. West Shamokin earned a first round bye in the District 6 playoffs, so the Wolves will not learn who they play in the quarter-finals until after the first round.

The West Shamokin Boys varsity basketball team won the North Division of the Heritage Conference and advanced to the Heritage Conference Semi-Finals before being knocked out of the Heritage Championship by Ligonier Valley. The Wolves will start the District 6 playoffs on Monday when they travel to Mount Union to play Mount Union at 7:00 PM.
