Manor Township will be providing assistance to an adjoining municipality.

Manorville Borough sent an email to Manor Township supervisors, requesting assistance in cleaning up an access ramp that is along the Allegheny River. High water levels from Spring rains deposited mud and debris on the access ramp. According to emergency management officials, the access is used by fire trucks in filling tankers with river water used to fight fires.

Supervisor Bob Southworth estimated there would be at least two truckloads of mud. Supervisors discussed where the mud would be dumped.

Supervisor Paul Rearick said assistance has been given to Manorville in the past. The Township will bill Manorville for time and equipment usage.
