Armstrong River Hawks Defeat Kiski Area Cavaliers 38-6

The Armstrong River Hawks (9-1) earned their fifth straight win on Friday for senior night as they rolled past the Kiski Area Cavaliers (4-6) 38-6.

The River Hawks struck first at the end of the opening quarter thanks to a Zane Dudek 4-yard touchdown run.

After scoring one touchdown in the first quarter the River Hawks would pour on the points in the second. Armstrong would take a 28-0 lead into halftime thanks to two more rushing touchdowns from Zane and a 55-yard touchdown pass from Michael Lhote to James Cesna.

Zane Dudek finished the game with 251 yards which was good enough to break the WPIAL single season rushing yards record (including playoffs) and Dudek is now the #1 in rushing yards and touchdowns in the nation(according to maxpreps.com).

The River Hawks will host a playoff game on Friday against an opponent to be released by the WPIAL later today.
