West Shamokin Wins Third Straight Against Marion Center

The West Shamokin Wolves continue their debut season in the Heritage Conference with their third straight win, this time over the Marion Center Stingers by a final score of 18-7.

The Stingers opened up the game the right way when their quarterback Dylan Goss was able to complete a pass to set Marion Center up for Goss to score the 1 yard QB sneak.

The Wolves were able to answer in the first half when Devin Fairman scored on a 3-yard QB keeper put the Wolves one point behind the Stingers 7-6.

The score would remain at 7-6 until the second half when Devin Fairman broke off a couple of 20+ yard runs including his second touchdown of the night which gave the Wolves a 12-6 lead after failing to convert the 2-point conversion.

The second half was a close game until the last few minutes. The Wolves were able to ice the game and come away with an 18-7 victory after Drew Orlosky intercepted a pass to set the Wolves up for another Fairman TD. Fairman then intercepted a pass within the last two minutes to assure the victory.

After the game I caught up with the two players who sealed the game for the Wolves - Devin Fairman and Drew Orlosky.

After the game I also got a chance to speak with Wolves Head Coach Jon McCullough.

The Wolves Will travel to Ligonier Valley next week to take on the 5-0 undefeated Rams team who just beat up on United on Friday night winning 57-0.
