WTYM AM 1380 to Broadcast Special 9-11 Show Sunday

Local radio station WTYM AM 1380 will be broadcasting a special Patriot Day program at Noon on Sunday, September 11.

The show will feature actual audio clips from the tragic events of that fateful day in 2001. There are also interviews from many people in Armstrong County in “Tales from Local People.”

“I think it is important that we remember the events of that day,” host David Croyle said. “There is a generation in school that was not born yet. This is a great program to help them to understand the tragedy of the day American was attacked.”

In addition to being broadcast over the 1,000 watts of pure local power on AM 1380, the program can also be heard via the station’s website at www.wtymradio.com. It can also be heard on smart mobile devices (cell phones, tablets) by downloading the free app from your device’s app store. (search for “wtym radio”)

The program is sponsored in part by:

Robinson’s Greenhouse & Farm Market

Sligo Auto Salvage, Inc.

Franklin Village Shop-N-Save

Northwood Realty Services

MVS Security Services

Good Tire Service

New Choices Career Development Services at Lenape Adult Education
