Local BC3, Clarion Students Recognized for Academic Achievement
Of the nearly 200 Butler County Community College students that were named to the Dean’s List this past Spring semester, more than a half-dozen were from Armstrong County.
Local students who achieved a semester Grade Point Average of 3.5 to 3.75 and earned at least 12 college level credits include:
Apollo’s Stephanie Garee
Cowansville’s Brady Kirkwood and Thomas Phelps
Dayton’s Nikki Monoskey
Ford City’s Alexandria Denardo
Kittanning’s Brent Lash and Cierra Shirley, and
Templeton’s Amanda Brletrick
More than double the amount of local students were part of the school’s President’s List – set aside for students who achieved a semester Grade Point Average of 3.75 or higher.
Those students include:

Ford City’s Marsha Trego
Freeport’s Samson Wyant
Kittanning’s Logan Atwood, Alyssa Black, Todd Bowser, Nathan Falchetti, Katie McAfoose, Megan Richardson, Eric Schall, Matthew Smith, Shane Stouffer, and Elana Wood
Parker City’s Maria Loos and Sarah Myers, and
Worthington’s Brian Bradford and Gregory Cook
Clarion University of Pennsylvania also has announced its Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 graded credits and achieve a GPA of at least 3.5.

What about adding those that attend Edinboro University, currently there are 13 students from Armstrong County that made the Dean’s List.
