BENNETT: Voters Needed for the PA Primary Election
by Jack Bennett
The primary election is rapidly approaching ( April 26th to be exact) A freedom most of the world’s people do not have (that of voting) is largely taken for granted in the United States.
A large turn-out at the polls is 25% (give or take a few votes) Usually the primary at the national level doesn’t mean much here because it’s (the candidate selection) been determined by now in the earlier primaries and caucuses.
This year, however, Pennsylvania is in the “thick of the battle” in either party and it is your opportunity, no, your obligation to get out and vote both in the primary and in the general election in the fall.
For the Democrats you have a choice between more socialism and total gun control in Hilary Clinton and total socialism and heavy gun control from Bernie Sanders.
For the Republicans we have Ted Cruz, a Texas Senator who claims not to be part of the establishment, and Donald Trump, a businessman who wants you to believe he will fix everything.
There you have it, short and sweet, more of the same with greater debts and shrinking world reputation on one side and the promise of reform and fiscal responsibility on the other.
The choice you make will determine the destiny of the United States, Yes, it’s that important, get out and vote. The time is now, the place is here and the future of the country is at stake, get out and vote.
Remember, all that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men and women to stand by and do nothing.

“if what the Clinton devil child said about her mothers ability to enact gun control now that Scalia is gone comes to fruition, it’s gonna get interesting.” If anything of the sort does happen because Scalia is gone maybe the Do Nothing Congress should have not held-up a scotus appointment!! Who’s fault would that be? Sometimes you get what is coming to you!

Two more stops have been added to the Waldo Star Lunacy Tour: Uranus, then straight to Hell… Waldo Star admits that Uranus will be his Favorite Stop on the Lunacy Tour! However, there are some who think going straight to Hell is his best path! LMAO

No one likes to see people out of work.
But closing down energy sources for the good of Mother Earth is bound to happen sooner or later. We must not destroy the place that we live in or doom will surely come. It may be too late.
So quit bashing President Obama and thank him for having the —- to finally come forward and give aid to a dying Mother.

@ sayin….
“In 2008, there were an average of 7,829 employees working in underground mines, surface operations and coal mills and prep plants in Pennsylvania,” according to a fact check by the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
“In the first half of 2012, there were an average of 8,567 employees working in underground mines, surface operations or mills and prep plants in Pennsylvania.”
That would be a employment growth of more than 9 percent in Pennsylvania since Obama took office.
Don’t buy these Repubs Lies, look for the facts!!
These Noodle heads act like they never heard of the 2 Million Plus jobs lost under the Bush Administration and the Recession!
Last time I looked there were 385 mining jobs in Armstrong County, 385! Wman, is way off pace.. Don’t see why he’s laying on your case like that, he’s no Saint! He went off on Mad once like that because Mad said that the GI Bill was an Entitlement, turned out that the GI Bill is an Entitlement and Wman was wrong, a mirror sometimes serves these guys well! LOL

“More than half of all Americans live in areas that have dangerously high levels of either ozone or particle pollution.”
“Demand for “thermal” coal, used to fire power plants, has also fallen off a cliff. That’s because the price of natural gas, a rival source of energy, has plummeted. Demand for nat gas has soared. In fact, U.S. electricity generation from natural gas eclipsed coal for the first time ever in April, according to Energy Information Administration stats going back to 1973.”
“The economics have actually forced the change Obama is trying to implement,” said David Gagliano, an analyst who covers the industry at BMO Capital Markets.”
Again these Repubs are all about laying blame, but should look in the Mirror more often! LOL

“The private sector has added jobs for 73 consecutive months — some 14.4 million new jobs in all — the longest period of sustained job growth on record. Unemployment, which peaked at 10 percent the year Obama took office, the highest it had been since 1983, under Ronald Reagan, is now 5 percent, lower than when Reagan left office. The budget deficit has fallen by roughly $1 trillion during his two terms. And overall U.S. economic growth has significantly outpaced that of every other advanced nation.”
For any of you Backwards Repubs, (you too Wman) feel free to refute any of above Facts!
“Gene Sperling, the former director of the National Economic Council who spent hours inside the Oval Office debating and devising the president’s economic strategy, told me, “If we were back in early 2009 — when we were coming to work every morning with clenched stomachs, with the economy losing 800,000 jobs a month and the Dow under 7,000 — and someone said that by your last year in office, unemployment would be 5 percent, the deficit would be under 3 percent, AIG would have turned a profit and we made all our money back on the banks, that would’ve been beyond anybody’s wildest expectations.”- The Times….
Again, Feel Free to refute these Facts KP Repubs with out your Repub Lies! LOL

China economy is struggling. China bought a LOT of commodities from everyone when they were booming. Orders from China drying up are affecting more than just the coal industry. the 250 coal fired plants that closed has also hurt the coal industry. Why did they close? The EPA, driven by Obama, placed very expensive mandates on them where continuing to operate wasn’t economically feasible. Obama stuck to his word when he said anyone can run a plant, but they will go broke doing it.
Point is global economics play a part in a presidents “numbers”, not just what happens in the United States. Also, jobs numbers and changes of such things don’t happen because of decisions/policies put into place a couple weeks prior…..that is just silly.

@jd
I guess that would depend on what your term of entitlement program is. Not all governmental programs are bad. I guess maybe we should categorize them as earned entitlement programs and freebies. Under Obamas economy food stamp recipients have increased 45%. 5.5 million Americans have been added to the poverty rolls. Our debt as a country has doubled and 1 out of 4 Americans are enrolled in Medicaid. Sometimes it is the types of jobs added that mean the most. The middle Class has suffered heavily under Obamas economy. Those facts are there. Obamas recovery is not nearly as roses as you paint it

If President Obama could have changed what he wanted to change and how he wanted to change them {without the influence of others, especially the Republicans), then things would have turned out better. But, NOOOOO. He had to compromise and appease the big cry babies.
