A pair of vehicles crashed into a East Franklin Township porch Monday morning.

At about 11:45AM, East Franklin Township Police Sgt. William Evans said a green 1997 Honda driven by William Brown of East Brady Road lost control of his vehicle while turning onto Pine Street and struck the left front of a white 2005 Chrysler Minivan, driven by Michael Latanzio, of Willow Drive in Kittanning.

Both vehicles exited the roadway and into the enclosed porch of Donna Kokolis’ home.

No injuries were reported at the Pine Street incident.

Applewold Borough and East Franklin Township volunteer firefighters assisted in the incident, along with Morris Towing.

Sgt. Evans said that Brown is to be cited for careless driving for his role in the crash.
