Wayne Edward Kline

Ed Kline, 80, of Alliance, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born on November 20, 1935 in Templeton, Pennsylvania to Harold Finley and Eleanor Alberta (Dowling) Kline, he lived in Alliance for most of his life.

A 1955 graduate of Kittanning High School in Kittanning, PA, and also served our country in the U.S. Air Force during 1955-1960.

Ed was member of Community Bible Church, and was employed at Alliance Machine Co. as a Fitter and retired in 1999 after 37 years of service.

Ed enjoyed his time with his Sheetz coffee bunch, enjoyed golfing & camping, but especially loved his time with his family, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Erika A. (Weigand) Kline, whom he married on June 17, 1959 four children, Christine (Mark) Graham of Ponce Inlet, FL, Marlisa (Timothy) Sams of East Rochester, OH, Ed (Kimberly A.) Kline of Alliance, OH, Eric (Kimberly K.) Kline of Alliance, OH; ten grandchildren, Nicole (Garrett) Brown, J.D. Neely, Candace (Danny) Hull, Morgan (Jeremy) Brain, Shaena (Josh) Winner, Aaron Kline, Eric Kline, Timothy Sams, Jr., Liam Sams, Madison Sams; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Kline of Cascade, MD, Wally (Maggie) Kline of Delray, FL; sister, Ave (Allen) Stroup of Kittanning, PA; sister-in-law, Margaret Walker of Alliance, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father, Harold Finley Kline; mother, Eleanor Alberta Kline-Dugan; and his step-father, Joe Dugan.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Community Bible Church. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor John Tucker, officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
