OBIT: Ann E. Rhodes (Kittanning)
Ann E. Rhodes, 84, of Kittanning, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at Kittanning Care Center.
She was born April 18, 1931 in Kittanning, the daughter of George and Caroline A. (Flaherty) Rhodes.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and graduated from Kittanning High School. She attended the New Kensington Business School and then worked for the Roger Stone Century 21 Agency, a position she held for over 50 years.
She was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church and will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.
Ann will be greatly missed by her sister, Kathleen Rost, of McKeesport, and several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Agnes Rau.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM Monday, November 23, 2015, at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Kittanning, with the Reverend Douglas E. Dorula as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Kittanning.
Contributions can be made in Ann’s memory to the Kittanning Public Library, 280 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, PA 16201.
