State and local police are investigating an incident in South Bend Township where a man was injured after being thrown from a vehicle Friday evening.
State Police troopers from the Kiski Barracks in and Kiski Township Police responded along with emergency medical services to an address along West Lebanon Road Friday evening where a man was awaiting medical attention after suffering injuries due to being thrown from the vehicle.
Kiski Township firefighters set up a landing zone for a LifeFlight medical helicopter, and before 7:40PM, that helicopter was en route to Forbes Regional Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The male was conscious and alert at the time of his transport to the hospital.
Police dispatches report that the victim identified the actor who threw him and where the incident occurred in Westmoreland County.
