South Buffalo Township residents are making sure their doors are secure tonight after Pennsylvania State Police released a report about a theft that occurred sometime between August 12 and August 21.
According to the report, someone stole $15,000 of cash from the safe located in the home of an unidentified 52-year-old man at 611 Freeport Road.
The victim said the safe was locked. There was also no sign of forced entry into the home. After the money was taken, the thief also locked the safe back up prior to fleeing the scene.
