OBIT: Bessie “Jean” Corle (Rimersburg)
Bessie “Jean” Corle, 76, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at her residence.
She was born in Toby Twp., Clarion County, on March 29, 1939, the daughter of Arthur and Annie (Guntrum) Switzer.
Jean lived in Rimersburg all her life and was of the Protestant faith. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a wonderful baker, known for making delicious pies.
Family was paramount in Jean’s life and she loved hosting family picnics.
Playing bingo was one of her favorite hobbies and she will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Her memory will be cherished by her three sons: Rick Corle and wife, Deb, Kevin Corle and wife, Barb, and Billy Corle and wife, Heather; daughter, Bonnie Lou Painter, all of Rimersburg; 17 grandchildren: Natasha and Steven Earley, of Rimersburg, Nicole and Bill Coradi, of Rimersburg, Briana and Adam Wingard, of Shippenville, Matt and Megan Corle, of Rimersburg, Ricky Corle, of Rimersburg, Richie Corle, of Rimersburg, Airez Corle, of Rimersburg, Aylin Corle, of Rimersburg, Crystal and Dave Yori, of New Bethlehem, Brandon and Windy Corle, of Clarion, and Bessie Corle, of Chicago, Ill.; and 14 great-grandchildren: Laila and Nash Earley, Mason and Owen Coradi, Sierra and Tyler Gathers, and Haley, Hayden, Jazlyn, Landon, Adrienne, Madison, Keisha and Camden Corle.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, William Eugene “Will” Corle, whom she married August 25, 1956 and who died April 3, 2013; son, William Corle, who died in 2010; grandson, Bryan Corle, who died January 14, 1983; granddaughter, Stacy Corle, who died July 24, 2007; two brothers: Arthur “Junior” Switzer and Marlin Switzer; and two sisters: Bonnie Goodman and Joyce Switzer.
The family received friends from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home in Rimersburg.
Additional visitation will be from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM today -Wednesday, July 15, 2015 - at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Deeter officiating.
Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemeteryin Rimersburg.
Contributions may be made in Jean’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
