OBIT: Linda Catherine Bishop (Evans City)
Linda Catherine Bishop, 63, of Evans City, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at her mother’s residence.
She was born on June 25, 1951 to Joseph and Claretta (Lowmaster) Bishop in Kittanning.
Linda worked as a teacher’s aide for the Seneca Valley School District.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ - Kittanning.
Linda is survived by her mother, Claretta C. Bishop of Kittanning; brother, Larry (Teressa) Bishop of Stanfield, North Carolina; two nephews: Brandon and Cameron; and two nieces: Brittany and Carmen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bishop, Jr.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9PM today - Wednesday, May 20, 2015 - at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home in Rural Valley.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM tomorrow - Thursday, May 21, 2015 - at the funeral home, with Pastor Todd Marino officiating.
Burial will take place in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
