A prayer rally last night at the new Armstrong Junior-Senior High School attracted over 100 worshippers to celebrate the 63rd Annual National Day of Prayer.

Leaders representing churches throughout Armstrong County spoke devotional thoughts and prayed for national, state, and local government leaders, in addition to emergency workers and community positions.

The rally was the first event to be held on the grounds of the new high school. At the conclusion of the prayer service, prayers of blessing were spoken over the new school and its administration, teachers, and students.
