OBIT: A. Peggy Croyle (formerly of Ford City)

A. Peggy Croyle, 96, formerly of Ford City, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, in ACMH Hospital, East Franklin Township.

She was born November 2, 1917, in McGrann, a daughter of the late Alvin G. and Anna (Cook) Weeter.

Peggy was a member of Ford Memorial United Methodist Church in Ford City, and the Armstrong County Historical Society.

She is survived by her two sons: Larry E. Croyle of Mt. Holly Springs, Pa., and L.
Clayton Croyle of Ford City; two nieces: Melinda Kaufman of East Brady and
Melissa Krantz of Florida; three great nieces: Susan L. Schmeider, Sharon J. Wyant, and Elizabeth Gradwell; and one nephew, Earl E. Dilley.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, W.
Ellis Croyle, who died July 13, 1984; three sisters: Elizabeth Gaiser, Marybel Hepler and LeAna House; and one brother, Camden Weeter.

Friends will be welcomed from 7-9PM on Thursday, December 26 in the Welch Funeral Home in Ford City.

A private funeral service will be held on Friday with the Rev. Thom Bonomo officiating.

Interment will follow in Ford City Cemetery, Manor Township.
