Croyle
Two days of testimony ended yesterday in the sexual assault trial of Kittanning Borough Councilman David Croyle.
Croyle, 61, was charged on August 9, 2018 with four felony counts of having sex with a minor.
The testimony portion of the trial started Wednesday morning and was finished yesterday afternoon. The jury began deliberations at 3:30 PM.
At 7PM last night, the jury asked Judge Chase McClister if they could stop for the day and continue Friday morning, stating they had not yet reached a verdict.
After conferring with attorneys for both sides of the case, McClister granted the jury’s request to go home for the night and reconvene deliberation at 9AM Friday.
