Manor Hires New Full-Time Police Officer

Officer Karissa Grossman has joined Manor Township as a full-time officer. She is seated next to J.T. Naviglia at last night’s meeting.

Manor Township Supervisors has hired a full-time officer to replace an officer who had resigned at the end of last month.

Karissa Grossman was introduced to residents that gathered in the municipal building last night for the public work session supervisors meeting.

“I’ve been a law enforcement officer for six years as a former municipal officer and (Ohio) state trooper,” Grossman said. “I have a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a Master’s degree in Counseling. I’m excited to be here and start working the streets.”

Grossman is from Johnstown, PA and said that until she finds suitable housing, she will continue to commute daily from Johnstown to Manor Township.

She received applause from the room.
