Allegheny Valley Hospital is seeking volunteers to join the surgical reception, information desk and lobby escort teams. These positions offer significant opportunity to work directly with patients and their families. All volunteers greet patients and visitors and help them throughout their experience in the hospital. Interested volunteers are asked to make a weekly or bi-weekly commitment for a 3 to 4 hour shift. Shifts are available at a range of times from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Current openings are available on Monday through Friday. Volunteers make a difference every day at AVH.
Consider sharing your time and talent with the patients and employees of AVH. Adults of all ages lend a helping hand in many areas and hospital departments.
