A dispute between two neighbors on Kelly Station Road in Bethel Township ended in intervention by the Pennsylvania State Police.
Trooper Travis Turkalj, investigating officer, said he responded for a report of shots fired.
“It was determined that there has been a long standing neighbor feud,” Turkalj wrote in his report. He stated that the unidentified 61-year-old man was intoxicated when he fired a 16-gauge shotgun in the air because of a party occurring at the house of an unidentified 31-year-old man.
Turkalj stated the gun was seized and charges are pending for Reckless Endangerment.
