A kitty rescue operation by Ford City firefighters saved a kitten that got caught in a storm drain across from District Judge Gary DeComo’s office yesterday. The grate from the storm drain was removed and a junior firefighter climbed down to find the kitten back in a six-inch drain pipe. The animal was coaxed out by some cat food and brought to safety.
