PennDOT Plans Road Maintenance This Week

District 10 of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) released their maintenance activity scheduled for this week. Work will depend on weather conditions.

  • Motorists driving Route 28 north in Rayburn and Boggs Townships should be aware of crews doing should cutting while the crews along Route 28 south will be mowing areas of the Allegheny Valley Expressway.
  • If you are traveling in Rayburn and Valley Townships on Route 85, there will also be shoulder cutting activity at various times.
  • State Route 1004 in Madison Township will have crews on site doing pipe replacement and shoulder stabilization.
  • In Valley Township, crews will be milling and filling parts of State Routes 1028 and 1035.
  • Manual patching will be done along Route 1032 in Boggs Township.

District 10 publishes the weekly maintenance schedules to let motorists know where to expect work, including patching, bridge cleaning, pipe replacements, and ditching.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
