Expectant Mother Receives Medical Treatment Following Sunday Accident

A Natrona Heights woman was transported to ACMH Hospital to be evaluated for possible internal injuries that could affect her pregnancy after an accident Sunday afternoon, July 21 on Route 66 in Parks Township.

Rachel Lucas, 24, was traveling north on Route 66. A vehicle driven by Jacob Wright, 18 of New Bethlehem was turning left on to Garvers Ferry Road before yielding to oncoming traffic and was struck by Lucas’ vehicle.

Neither Wright, nor his passenger, 18-year-old Margaret Duvall from Templeton, were injured in the crash. Wright will be charged for failure to yield.
