Kittanning Borough Council postponed reappointing Michael Swartz to the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Kittanning (Sewage Authority) Board last night.
Swartz’s term will expire on February 23, 2019. In an email to Council President Kim Chiesa, Swartz requested that Council consider him for another five-year term.
However, Council also received a letter of interest from Todd Stitt.
Council decided to postpone the official vote until the February 4 meeting in order to give any other interested person who is interested in serving on the Sewage Authority Board ample time to submit a letter of intent to the Borough office at 300 South McKean Street.
