LARRY is young Rottweiler mix. His life didn’t start out so well… but now he has a second chance at Orphans of the Storm. His story began when his mother was dumped in a remote area with a litter of puppies. No one knows what happened to those puppies. Somehow, she survived. After a year on her own, she had another litter. Larry was one of those puppies. This time, a kind person wanted to help. They trapped the litter and brought us to Orphans of the Storm. 
The mother, Larry’s brother and sister found homes. But Larry is still waiting. He is good with other dogs but very shy. The staff and volunteers are spending extra time with him, giving me the tender loving care he needs to learn to trust people.
AMBER is a 4-month-old kitten. She and her sister, Sophia, were living outside. A family was feeding them, but they moved to Florida and brought the kittens to Orphans of the Storm. The kittens went directly to a loving foster home and had many other kitties to play with. Amber is very shy and it takes awhile for her to make up to humans. However, she loves playing with her toys, her sister Sophia, and all the other kitties in her foster home! She would love to find a home of her own!
