A benefit concert by the Andy Davis Band was held Saturday night at the Worthington-West Franklin Civic Center. According to Treasurer Mark Hodak, proceeds will go to maintenance on the former school facility that has 3 buildings on 9 acres. 150 tickets were sold, plus food sales, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing that all grossed approximately $4,000. This was the first time the organization hosted a fund-raising concert.
The Rockville Lutheran Church hosted a Fall Festival last Saturday. The church is well-known for their fine food they have served throughout the year. Although many of the parishioners participate, this photo shows George Mechling from Shay and Paulette Cousins from Kittanning Township in the kitchen.
