Police Make Arrest for Drugs and Warrant

Pennsylvania State Police nabbed two local men on drug charges and outstanding warrants.

Just before 5PM on June 14, police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Route 28 at Exit 13 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County. The operator of the vehicle, an unidentified 38-year-old Adrian man, was determined to be impaired during the stop and drug paraphernalia (needles, empty glassine baggies, and contraband related to crack smoking) was located. The passenger of the vehicle, an unidentified 54-year-old Kittanning man, who was wanted on a State Parole Warrant, was subsequently taken into custody. Charges are pending for the driver of the vehicle following receipt of lab results.
