State Police responded to a call from Wal-Mart in the Hilltop Plaza, East Franklin Township, for retail theft.
Mellissa Sue Painter, 38, of Kittanning is accused of carrying away merchandise – namely, five tank tops and a pair of sandals, total value of $37.62. According to a police report, this was the first offense of merchandise valued under $150.
The theft occurred on June 8, 2018 at approximately 4PM.
