KITTANNING - A Ford City woman is accused of stealing two vehicles by Pennsylvania State Police. A silver Mercury Monterey minivan was reported stolen in West Kittanning on July 23 at approximately 7:38 PM. Several minutes later, this Mercury was found abandoned in a driveway on Clearfield Pike. The thief exchanged it for a white Hyundai Sonata which was reported by its owner as stolen at approximately 7:45 PM. A description of the suspect was developed from both thefts. On July 24, at approximately 11AM, a suspicious female was reported around Main Street in Rayburn Township. Troopers responded and investigated the suspicious individual. These responding Troopers were made aware that this suspicious person burglarized a house on Main Street. The description of this person matched the description of the stolen vehicles suspect. The suspect was found to have possession of items contained in both stolen vehicles and a positive identification was made. The Hyundai Sonata was recovered on July 24 in a field in Rayburn Township. Police identified the person as Dannielle Hellams from Ford City.
