The Kittanning Sioux 11/12 year old little league baseball team traveled to Drescher Stadium at Highlands to take part in the Tournament of Champions, and they won it all with a 13-2 victory.
Zane Lasher pitched a complete 4 inning game for the Sioux, while Aiden Shafer opened the game up offensively with a grand slam followed by Isaiah Brown’s first home-run of the season.
The Sioux added to their lead following that great opening performance to take the 13-2 victory in the Championship game with the addition of another home-run from Dustin Coleman.
The Sioux took home Tournament of Champions pins and they will be receiving a banner soon as well as a trophy with the team name engraved on it; keeping the trophy for a year.
