The Armstrong Junior Legion baseball team (20-2) swept the two game series over Punxsutaney on Monday, defeating Punxsutawney 12-2 in the first game on Sunday and 9-4 for the game on Monday.
In the first game Armstrong took care of Punxsutaney in five innings thanks to a 6 strikeout, 2 hit, and 0 runs allowed game from the mound by Caleb Harringer (pictured) and from the plate 3 RBI’s from both Tanner Bordick and Nick Parisi.
The went all 7 innings, but Armstrong was able to close it out thanks to a big 5 run fourth inning and a 3 run fifth inning.
Armstrong will be playing the winner of SW Jack and Brookville on Thursday at Armstrong High School.
