East Brady Plans for Christmas Festival Next Weekend
Santa, along with the help of Mrs. Claus, attempts to console a first-time guest to Santa’s knee at last year’s Christmas celebration in East Brady.

The East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) is sponsoring Light-Up Night in East Brady on Saturday, December 3rd at 5:00 PM. The event will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Kelly’s Way. Parking is available along Kelly’s Way and on the side street adjacent to Farmer’s National Bank.
The evening will begin with a greeting from the President of East Brady Borough Council, Barb Mortimer. After a ride through town Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by to enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. Christmas carolers will entertain as pine trees at the park will be lit and decorated with children’s handmade ornaments and Veteran’s memorial ornaments. Candle lighting will precede the music and refreshments. All are welcome to participate!
