OBIT: Stanley Ritrosky (Kittanning)
Stanley Ritrosky, 90, of Kittanning, passed into the loving arms of his Savior on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Sugarcreek Rest.
He was born on March 8, 1926 is Ford City, to Joseph and Teresa (Lorenz) Ritrosky. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He married Rosie (Livengood) Ritrosky on September 6, 1956 and remained married to her until her death in 1999. He worked as a welder in the Ironworkers Union, Local 3, never taking a sick day during his career. His hobby was his work. He enjoyed being a blessing to others by fabricating and making repairs to things. He faithfully attended and served at Worthington Baptist Church in Worthington, PA. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await him after his passing.
He will be deeply missed by his children: Martin (Cindy) Ritrosky and Patrick (Robin) Ritrosky – both of Kittanning; grandchildren: Nathan (Jessica) Ritrosky, Ashlee (Ryan) Strawcutter, Lindsay (Brian) Kimmel, Crystal (Gary) Truitt, Tabbatha (Nate) Adams, Sarah Weldenhof, Levi Ritrosky (fiancé Courtney Johns); great-grandchildren: Naomi, Maya, Maleigha, Noah, Jacob, Deanna, Brook, Gavin, Emma, Timothy, Ivy, Abigale, Eli, Olivia, Lila, and Logan; and his furry friend Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife; also brothers: John and Michael Ritrosky; and sisters: Sophie Cook, Katherine Demetris and Anna Dollin.
Friends will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington. Additional viewing from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Worthington Baptist Church, with the minister of the church officiating. Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
